CarbonLite SingleTrekking Poles
Uber-lightweight 136 g 3 section carbon fibre trekking pole
CarbonLite Single Trekking Poles
A single CarbonLite walking pole- unofficially lighter than the official lightest walking pole!
This 3 section walking pole is fully constructed from carbon fibre, making it uber-light with a high strength to weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. The 3 sections allow the pole to be shortened to 63 cm so that it can be effortlessly strapped to your rucksack ready for use. The sections adjust with a very sturdy twist-lock mechanism so there is no slippage.
The tip is composed of tungsten which has much greater strength and stiffness than many other usable metals. The EVA foam hand grips have low water absorption but offer excellent impact and vibration absorption as well as thermal insulation properties. The wrist strap reduces fatigue- they are easily adjustable with gloved hands with a simple pull motion and encompass EVA foam for added comfort.
CarbonLites come with Chamoix trekking baskets and rubber feet to stop that bothersome clinking on hard ground (just mention it in the 'Notes' at the checkout). Also available as a pair.

Very light and good value for money
Excellent service and delivery was quick. I hadn't realised that walking poles varied so much in weight and the product video showing how to use it was very helpful. The walking pole is so light in weight that you hardly notice you are carrying it and it seems very sturdy.
I would certainly recommend this product and company to anyone looking for outdoor products. I am so pleased I found Alpkit.
