Nothing brings people together like a shared adventure, like days on the trail swapping stories, living the highs and the lows. Still, you don’t want anyone’s feet in your face when you’re tucked up in your sleeping bag – no matter how close you are!
Viso’s 3 pole tunnel structure creates maximal living space and head room without the weight gain for a more comfortable backpacking adventure.
Pitching is simple – ideal after a hard day’s hiking. The triangualised configuration helps to spread the load along the poles, and guy ropes stabilise the tent against the wind. Viso is outer pitch first, but the outer and inner can also be pitched together and you can use the outer on its own as a bivvy shelter on faster, lighter adventures.
Suspended from the outer, the breathable polyester inner with mesh panelling and a mosquito net door provides a comfortable and airy interior living space, gives plenty of ventilation and keeps the bugs out.
A spacious porch with groundsheet provides ample storage space for your boots and rucksack, whilst stash pockets in the inner and hanging loops give you plenty of options for organising your gear, storing valuables and hanging up your torch.

Exacty what it said it was
We were looking for a tent that had a reasonably small pack size, but was big enough for 3 for 3 season camping. The tent ticks all the boxes. Most recently used camping in North Wales, in a lot of rain, it stood up to the elements well and kept us snug.
Only development point would be offering a Footprint for added groundsheet protection, but that is a minor quibble.
Good value for money but could do with a couple of tweaks.
First off this is a great tent for the money. I have been using it for over a year now as a base camp tent for trips and it performs well. Only quibbles I have is that when it's raining the shape/position of the door means the roof drains into the porch area when you open it. I feel that this could be solved by moving the door to the end of the tent or adding a zip on all sides of the door. Also just found out that the insect mesh isn't fine enough to stop the dreaded midge! This has only been an issue during a recent trip to Kielder where it would have been nice to get some restbite from the swarm and not watch them come through the mesh after we had delt with the ones that came in with us.
So all in all a good tent which works well in most conditions but maybe not ideal for Scotland/Kielder in midge season.
