It’s damp, it’s windy, it’s quite frankly the typical UK climate… But we wouldn’t have it any other way! Still, we can’t get into our tent quick enough.

Tetri’s simple and classic 3 pole geodesic design creates a stable and dependable shelter for your backpacking excursions.

Tetri is highly versatile. Although designed to be outer pitch first, the outer and inner can also be pitched together, or you can use the outer on its own as a bivvy shelter for faster, lighter adventures. Colour-coordinated poles and pole sleeves make pitching simple - even for just one person - so your mate can get dinner on whilst you’re at it.

Suspended from the outer, the breathable polyester inner with mesh panelling and a mosquito net door provides a comfortable and airy interior living space, gives plenty of ventilation and keeps the bugs out.

A spacious porch provides storage space for your boots and rucksack, whilst stash pockets in the inner and hanging loops give you plenty of options for hanging and organising your gear.

Great Tent

Great tent, seriously waterproof easy to put up.

Used this tent on 4 wild camping trips and It keeps providing the goods every time. Incredibly easy to put up and for the price it walks all over more expensive brands. 100% recommend this tent if you’re starting out.

I originally purchased the Tetri for wild camping adventures around the lakes, however its maiden voyage came in the form of a 4 day Drum & Bass festival in Scotland.

Pitching the tent was an absolute dream, requiring only a half hearted glance at the instructions provided. The simple three pole design making the erection process easy to figure out (even after several beers). Reflective strips on the sides also provided us with a useful reference point for stumbling home drunk in the dark at 5:00AM. Brilliant and unexpected feature!

Jokes aside, the real test (and reason for leaving this review) came a couple of weeks ago on Scafell. After a scorching hot summit run we returned to our camp at Styhead Tarn only to be confronted with the biggest thunder storm I've ever experienced (and I've seen some big yans)!

After a relentless night of sonic booms, flashes from all directions and horizontal rain I can now confirm that this tent is:

As the mist cleared in the morning we noticed several other tents around us had been absolutely obliterated by the storm (including a local scout group haha). Since that night this has been my go to tent for adventures in the fells, not a single leak!

Next up Blencathera smile

Its very well made. It goes up in a flash. I love the internal size and considering its only a 2 man tent, Its got plenty of room inside. The porch with its own footprint is amazing. I am always planning and looking forward to my next adventure with the Tetri because i know , the Alpit Tetri wont let me down and i will always enjoy my time with the tent. The only downside its slightly heavy but the tent is Highly recommended. I love it.

Great small tent, goes up in a flash and really strong in the wind. Very happy!

Good all-around tent

This is my first tent as an adult - I wanted something basic, but big enough to relax in. The Tetri has worked out well. Putting it up the first time took some time, as I needed to attach the inner to the outer and work things out. Once I did that, it goes up and down quite quickly and I can do it without any help.

I very much like the details like the pockets in the inner space, the two windows, and the really nice stakes that Alpkit supplied with it.

Fantastic piece of kit

A wonderful and very reasonably priced tent. Large 'porch' area and lots of room for one person and their gear. From an excellent and ethical company too - can't recommend highly enough.

Genius, pitch as one tent.

The webpage description doesn't do this justice. I pitched this the first time, outer first then clipped the inner in and they have stayed together ever after. Ultra speedy: thread in three poles, bend into the clips and you're done. What they also haven't shown well is the sturdy "belt-type" clips that secure the base of the inner to the outer fly. So easy to use and far superior than hooks used on other tents. When ready, the poles can be pulled out easily as the sleeves are over-sized and the whole tent rolls easily over the folded poles, back into the storage bag. An absolute bargain at the sale price.

Simple, functional, brilliant!

Great tent for the price, the build is high quality and it feels like it'll last a long time. Easy to set up and weight + size are spot on!

set me tent up for the first time last night and as soon as the rain started it began to leak altho held solid in the wind so hopefully hear back from alpkit soon to exchange it for another 1 hope it was just the material that has a fault as i really like this tent
