SkyeHigh 900down sleeping bag
4 season spacious duck down sleeping bag for Scottish winters, Kilimanjaro or Everest Base Camp trek. -13ºC 650 IDFB fill power bag weighing under 1500 g
SkyeHigh 900 down sleeping bag
High fill power and 900 g of duck down make SkyeHigh 900 our most versatile and comfortable winter bag.
SkyeHigh 900 will keep you warm in a mild alpine or Scottish winter and still be lightweight enough to carry up that mountain. 900 g of 90/10 duck down with a super-toasty 650 IDFB fill power.
High quality down and high fill power gives SkyeHigh 900 great lofting ability and equally great compression capacity. SkyeHigh can be squashed to fit in a limited space and fluffed up for uber-warmth. Box wall baffle construction gives SkyeHigh 900 increased thermal insulation. Trapezoid side baffles eliminates potential heat loss and prevents down migrating from front to back - something to do with heading south for warmer climes.
SkyeHigh 900 is perfect for that chilly March night, the kind where you find yourself in the Swiss alps- inexplicably camping midway up Oberrothorn so that you can awaken to a sensational sunrise. Your sleeping bag needs to keep you cosy through that wintery night, but needs to be light enough to take up those gnarly alpine routes the following day.
- Excellent lofting capacity
- Horizontal box wall baffles, trapezoid side baffles
- YKK zips and grosgrain anti-snag zip guard
- Internal pocket for valuables
- Adjustable head closure and draft collar
- All of our down is ethically sourced, not live-plucked and not force-fed

Weight: 1450 g

Compression bag size: 68 x 37 (Circumference x height)
How will you fit? Our guide is based on the user wearing thin base layers.
Spacious: 5ft3 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 100 cm. The bag will be perfectly useable but you will have space within the bag. For this reason it will not be as thermally efficient as an optimum fit but it will be comfortable and you will easily be able to wear extra layers.
Optimum: 5ft11 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 124 cm. At this size you are the ideal candidate for this bag. You should be able to easily arrange yourself in the bag, and still have the space to wear an additional down jacket if necessary.
Tight: 6ft1 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 128 cm. At this size you will start to compress the down and reduce the thermal efficiency of the bag, especially in the foot section and have limited movement around your shoulders when the zip is full closed. You should still be able to take your socks off, but might struggle to take off a top layer without undoing the zip.
SkyeHigh 900 is a great choice for trips where weight is an issue but also an ideal option for long trips where comfort is crucial. SkyeHigh is more spacious than PipeDream but uses the same high quality super-soft ripstop polyester. Because these fabrics are fully down-proof we do not need to use a secondary facing layer that would otherwise add additional weight for no performance gain. SkyeHigh is a good option for those with broad shoulders who will find PipeDream too narrow. Down is a natural material and although it is sorted there will be a proportion of slightly darker down clusters that will create a slight mottled effect on some of our lighter coloured face fabrics. The draft tube follows the entire length of the zip thus reducing the possibility of heat loss through the zip. DWR coating means the odd drip of condensation or early morning dew won’t ruin your bag’s insulation.

I am a cold sleeper. I am never cold in this sleeping bag. I haven't slept in winter in it yet, I will review again in winter. This bag is perfect for me. It's warm, comfortable and feels nice against your skin. So very happy with this.
