From mountain to forest to valley floor… So much world to explore, so many possibilities, is there really one sleeping bag to suit them all? Maybe not, but the SkyeHigh sure comes close…
Classic and versatile, SkyeHigh was designed to loft its way effortlessly into almost any situation, using 650+ IDFB fill power duck down to balance weight and bulk-size with comfort, warmth, and value.
With 900g of Hydrophobic Nikwax down, SkyeHigh 900 is ideal for 4 season use, whether you’re halfway up Oberrothorn to catch the Alpine sunrise, or on the valley floor before a day on Ben Macdui.
A comfortably spacious cut gives a natural night’s sleep. Box-wall horizontal baffles with trapezoid side baffles prevent down migration, minimizing heat loss; adjustable head closure and draft collar lets you snuggle down to fend off the drafts.
Wonderfully compressible, the SkyeHigh packs down small and light enough to fit in your pack.

NIKWAX HYDROPHOBIC DOWN
Nikwax Hydrophobic is a water repellent treatment that makes down less susceptible to humid conditions, staying lofted for longer and prolonging the overall lifespan of your down.
RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD
We use only RDS certified down; all our down is audited by a third party to ensure that it comes from birds who are not live-plucked, force-fed, or mistreated. That’s good to know.

Hard to find and try out a sleeping back when your 1.88 meter and 66kilo! Old sleepingbag I was always cold even with thermal underwear, socks, head and blanket on top..
Used it last weekend (temp evening 10C+/-) and was hot!!
Good helpful staff and liked/loved the idea that if not at my liking (trying in home and clean) could send it back free and would have got money back!!
Think it would be a good idea to also have a sipper option in middle of back for hamocking... (told already one of staff members)
Warm as toast
Just spent my first night in this bag .bought this to upgrade from a Rab Ascent 700 massive difference in warm and loft .
Kept me warm all night even when bag got a bit wet from condensation on the inside of my tent .
Packs down really small for a 4 season bag easy fits in the bottom of my rucksack.
Definitely 5 stars rating.
Its warm, very warm
I purchased the Skyehigh 900 as part of an amended Alpkit 'winter sleep out bundle'.
The Skyehigh 900 was first used at a wild camp on 16 Oct 2018 in combination with the Alpkit Dirtbag Mat. The location was the top of Stuchd An Lochain where the weather was 18 gusting 23 and the
temperature noted at 2 degrees.
For the record I'm a very cold sleeper and need a warmer than average bag. On getting into the bag wearing a t-shirt and shorts I made sure the neck baffle and hood were snugly tightened however, after approx 30 mins of being in the bag everything was loosened and the lower end of the double zip opened to cool the feet. 40 mins in and the side zip was partially opened.
After those few adjustments I had a great nights sleep. At 1.83m tall I found the X-Long size to be spot on providing plenty of room to move about without feeling restricted.
I'll be using the bag across Scotland throughout the coming winter and based on its first outing have no qualms about its ability to keep me warm on the coldest nights of a Scottish winter season. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the winter bundle and have no hesitation in recommending the 900 in tandem with the Dirtbag mat
Warm in the Andes
I have just spent a month at over 10,000 and up to 15,000 ft in Peru. Unlike fellow travellers I was never cold and was very comfortable. Pack size is excellent. Would recommend this bag if you are going anywhere cold ( Tried it in England in summer and it was too warm )
Great piece of kit!
I've just got back from a 2 night camp at Edale, the first time I got to try out the Skyehigh 900. Performed brilliantly, kept we warm all night and packs down easily into my 65l sack. Super cosy and loving the soft material in the inner. The only problem I had was dragging myself out of the sleeping bag in the morning, it was misty and cold on both mornings. Looking forward to some winter camps now! Highly recommended piece of kit!!
