I need a 2nd pair!
These have been my goto activity gear to the point where they're wearing out and I need a second pair!
I've hiked, biked, boot-camped, Trail run, Half marathoned and used them as a summer base layer under a Dry Suit (swift water rescue).
The fit is great for me, I'm a 34" waist and a large size. Useful leg/side pockets for stashing all sorts of junk, including Gels, sweets, gloves even a radio at one point. They dry out quickly when wet and not had any issues with them getting baggy. I've recommended them to many people.
Spot on leggings
I saw these in the Hathersage store and thought I’d give them a try. I do a few sports - Cycling, hiking, yoga and thought they’d be ideal for all of them. I bought the 3/4 length as I’m short of leg and I find ankle zips always bunch up on me. With walking footwear and longer socks they look full length anyway.
Firstly they’re a really good fit. Nothing looks worse on a bloke than baggy Lycra and these fit perfectly just about everywhere, just a bit of creasing at the back of the knee on my legs. The waist is nice and high and the drawstring waist keeps them up all day, but the tie could be a bit longer. The grippers round the calf are a tad snug on my (admittedly chunky) legs but it’s not an issue.
The Lycra material itself is smooth and slightly shiny and feels as though it’ll keep any rubbing/chafing away. The fabric and stitching feel very good quality, I think they should last wellThe leg
Pockets are surprisingly roomy and practical and feel secure but it does look a bit odd with your phone in there!
Although tight enough to feel supportive they’re not the thickest leggings but they’ll be perfect for cooler spring/summer/autumn days and practical enough to wear all day.
Basically they’re spot on, super value and I think I’ll be wearing them to death this year. How about a different colour though? Grey would be nice!
Great 3/4 running/walking tights
I bought these for those not-quite-shorts but too-warm-for-longs days. Just one outing proves them perfect. The quality is top-notch (regardless of price), the design excellent, and the cut/fit for me is spot on (6' 2"+, 34 waist, 33 leg). Another piece of great Alpkit kit at a proper price!
Really happy with these. Used on a 30K trail run with plenty muddy and beach sections, if you're sinking to ankle or mid-shin these are far better than long tights. Not too warm, fast wicking, great pockets side and back, silicone grip at base of leg was no problem.
I have the long Koulin too (in S) but tried these in M. I've run in both and both fit fine (male, 5'5", 30+" waist), just personal preference.
Like all Alpkit stuff, amazing quality at any price.
Kool weather running
Comfy as. Have worn tracksters for years, would roll up if too warm. These are better. I wear these wear I might have worn shorts. Ensuring my aging knees are kept warm. Suggested improvements - rear pocket, bit stretchy so phone sags down a little low. Better if it was a little higher. I'm going to sew to reduce size. The silicon grippers are a bit tight around top of calf, I keep them just below knee.
