Filoment Jacket [Mens]micro rib duck down mountain jacket
Men's 650 fill power micro rib duck down jacket. Soft and quiet to the touch, it is a real alternative to the traditional fleece
Filoment Jacket [Mens] micro rib duck down mountain jacket
A sleek micro-rib down jacket for low weight mountain warmth. Using premium duck down it is a lightweight top layer ideal for climbing, bouldering and belaying or simply down at the pub after your fun-filled day; or an insulating mid-layer for when serious cold really sets in. Filoment is highly compact so it can be kept at the bottom of your bag without taking too much space and with a DWR coating you can take it anywhere and stay warm.
Filoment has increased baffles to let those feathers flow: larger baffles, larger loft, larger warmth and an augmented fit to allow greater mobility in the upper body.
Think of Filoment like a lightweight, windproof fleece, something you can throw on over a base layer or a t-shirt. It is an active, functional cut made to extend over your hips with a long back length.
Soft and quiet to the touch, it is a real alternative to the traditional fleece jacket. Its low bulk packs down much smaller than a fleece, Filoment will easily stow away into a 1 litre Airlok dry bag (sold separately) , offering protection for lightweight adventure athletes on a mission.
The external breast pocket is big enough to stash your phone, gps or wallet in without having to undo your main zip and lose all that precious warm air! A neoprene hem and a snug collar also help trap air when you are on the move.

Got one on these bad boys for a recent trip to Kilimanjaro. Held up well and a great price. So much so I've gotta order a second one for the wife!
Lightweight and warm
Haven't tried it in any truly nasty weather, but help up well in the cold and damp Northern Irish winter.
