Stem Cell Dryaccessory bag
Waterproof stem-mounted accessory and bottle bag for keeping your essentials accessible yet dry; UK-made to last
When you’ve made the trip to Norway for a week off the grid, the forecast for downpour isn’t exactly going to put you off. At least your stuff will stay dry…
Stem Cell Dry provides easy-to-access waterproof storage for the stuff you’ll need frequently during your ride.
Constructed from waterproof VX21 fabric with a minimalist design in our UK factory, Stem Cell Dry is made to be hardwearing without adding weight to your setup.
A taped waterproof insert and roll-top closure keeps your stuff dry; padded walls give added protection.
A webbing ladder offers endless attachment points; simply cut the VELCRO® strap to size.
The roll-top closure creates a 13 cm extension to fit a 600 ml bottle or 750 ml Nalgene; the Stem Cell also fits a Mytimug 650.

Stem Cell Dry
Excellent bit of kit wizardry as usual from ALPKIT. I have used this for months now in all sorts of weather and not once has it leaked or let me down. I have had no problem with the inner liner as another reviewer mentioned. I use it store my phone, keys, bike tool and the all important Haribo's. Despite some cruddy rides I just let the bag dry out naturally and then brush off the dried mud with a soft toothbrush. Comes up a treat. Fab bit of kit for the price. 5 stars from me.
Expensive but perfect for my needs.
I bought one of these to act as an accessible case for my micro 4/3 digital camera. With the addition of a circle of Karrimat material to the base it is perfect for my needs, whether on the handlebars, climbing harness or ruckstrap straps. It's waterproofness was confirmed when I foolishly popped it in the dog's panniers and he took it for a lake swim.
This is a great piece of kit that I can’t believe I managed without. I’ve just taken it on a 3 day cycle along Hadrian’s wall in *ahem* variable weather, and this kept my phone, my camera and most importantly my wine gums dry and within easy reach. A worthwhile addition to your bikepacking setup.
2 day outing in the Alps
Was really expecting these to be good, but afraid not.
1 - the lack of a round base, unlike the regular stem cell, means they do not pack as well (Its really square)
2. the lock over top sticks up too high, and interferes with other items in the cockpit
3. The liner keeps coming out when unpacking what a pain
No such problems with the regular stemcell - I can't say this is worth the extra money.
On another note the really! really! harsh Velcro, has already started to wear a hole in the outer bag after only two days, and has trashed another bit of kit, put it on soft side inside (no Scratching the bike, but damages the kit, put it on soft side outside, it scratches the bike paintwork!)
