Stem Cell Stem-mounted bikepacking bag
1.8 litre stem-mounted bags, ideal keeping your gels, a water bottle, camera, Mytimug, or other riding equipment close-to-hand on your two-wheeled adventures; UK-made to last
Refuelling with an energy gel, taking a swig of water, capturing a sunset on camera… Some things just can’t wait until you hunker down for the night.
Stem Cell attaches to your bikes' stem to provide easy-to-access, storage space for the stuff that you’ll need frequently during your ride. Placed well within reach when you're riding, it works well as a stand-alone bag for day riding or as a part of your cockpit setup on longer bikepacking adventures.
Constructed from waterproof and abrasion resistant fabrics with a minimalist design in our UK factory, Stem Cell is made to endure the demands of life on the road without compromising on weight.
A webbing ladder offers endless attachment points around the flight deck; simply cut the VELCRO® strap provided to size.
Drawcord closure creates a 7 cm extension tube to fit a 600 ml bottle or 750 ml Nalgene; the Stem Cell also fits a Mytimug 650.
"Is it waterproof?"
Although highly weather resistant, this product is not fully waterproof due to its stitched construction and drawcord closure. If you are carrying valuables or electronic equipment, make sure to put it in a dry bag.

Nice place to keep your Haribos!
Initially wanted a Fuel Pod type frame bag but had concerns over security of attachment leading to contact with my knees. Went for the SC 2 and have used it for the 1st time on a 200 mile road event on my road bike. The bag comes with a single length of what appears to be good quality Velcro type strap so the first job is to cut it into the 3 lengths you're likely to need. The best fit will be achieved on an MTB as pictured due to having a nice wide fork crown to strap down to. Road forks typically are not as wide here and there was also insufficient fork/tyre clearance to add the strap. I simply looped it through the head tube area. For road riding perfectly secure. I filled the bag with the usual assortment of snacks etc and "peeling" the wrappers whilst stationary allows you to eat on the go without any hassle. I can't comment on water resistance as it didn't rain but think any contents would remain dry through a shower providing the drawstring was tightened. In summary, a useful and well made bag that doesn't fall off or get in the way and holds a decent amount of Haribos.
Fills with water?
Handy, minimalist and practical way to add to capacity and separate items for quick access.
However when it rains for long periods of time it fills with water. A drainage hole would be useful. Also on mine the elastic to close it split when I gently pulled it after a few times.
