Bob floats, it’s what he does. He loves to float, he can do it all day!
All in all Bob is the perfect lantern for any occasion where he might end up in the drink. Take him fishing, take him around the world on a sailing adventure, or pootle down the Wye and have a relaxing illuminated evening bivvy.
Operation is simple, a big round button turns Bob on and cycles through the 4 lighting modes; High, Medium, Low and SOS. Bob is powered by 4 AAA batteries, so no matter where your adventure replacements should be easily available.
Turn Bob over and you will find an accessory carabiner so you can hang him up in your tent or suspend him from a jungle vine - watch out for those cheeky monkeys, Bob can’t automatically initiate SOS mode!!

Cracking camping lantern
I bought this lantern a couple of months ago with one eye on next summer when I go to the World Scout Jamboree as I was looking for a small lightweight hanging lantern that I could pack into our restricted kit bags. I have to say Bob has not disappointed! Three lighting levels, a stable base and a hanging point all add up to make this piece of kit a great buy. On it's brightest setting it illuminates a tent brilliantly and on the lowest you can still read in comfort whilst saving power. Highly recommended.
Fantastic expedition lantern

I've been using this lantern for over two years now, and it's perfect.
Durable so that it doesn't get destroyed when packing it around. Waterproof for canoe trips, where it excels on our expeds in scotland. Having a versatile light for basecamp means our clients can relax in the evening without blinding each other with head torches, making for a much more communal atmosphere. Battery life is as advertised too, so a couple of sets last a week's worth of evenings. They just need bringing back in stock now so I can kit out our next set of trips with a few!
