What’s in store? Our Alpkit Hathersage Store is just the same as Alpkit Online. The only difference is that the store is made of bricks and mortar and has a roof, doors and windows. Our full range is available in our Hathersage Store, from our SnapWire titanium spoons to our Sonder Bikes, with a fleet of demo bikes for you to try out. You’ll also find a bike repair workshop for bikes that are feeling a little worse for wear.

We’ve a Gear Repair Station and Workshop instore to make simple repairs 7 days a week. If a product is damaged bring it along and we will do what we can to repair it. We strive to make products you can pass on to the next generation but there may be a small charge for the repair. We can make simple running repairs in store, or, if it is more complicated, return it to AKGHQ for the attention of one of our skilled makers.

Services

We offer a range of services instore such as bike hire, bike workshop and a gear repair station. These will be added to our site in due course with the option of booking these online.

Store Team

Local lad (Fast) Freddie Oxley is a bike rider and keen photographer, he takes care of the Sonder Bike room in store.

Lola is a dive master and super keen runner, she also loves to climb but much prefers big wall adventures to bouldering. Lola is on hand to answer questions on the full range of Alpkit products in store.

Ben has worked with Alpkit for a while now, both in customer service and running our events. A freestyler kayaker, when he’s not at work he loves to be on or in the water or out climbing, usually with his 2 Shiba Inu dogs. Ben will be covering the full range of Alpkit product in store.

Adventure photographer and hammock enthusiast; Joe rides a bit, runs a bit, boulders a bit, scrambles a bit, paddles a bit, and sleeps in odd places.

Hill walking is what Harriet does, mostly with her hound; but there are a few bikes in the shed along with harness and shoes, and wetsuits packed ready in the van.

Lucy was originally a competition climber, but since moving up to the Peak District she has come to love trad climbing and everything else to do with being outdoors.

Kate loves being outside and all types of climbing, although sport climbing and bouldering are her favourites. She also enjoys cycling and running around the Peak District!

Amanda spends most of her time running, climbing, getting lost in remote places, and dreaming of van life!
