What’s in store?
Our Alpkit Ambleside Store is just the same as Alpkit Online. The only difference is that the store is made of bricks and mortar and has a roof, doors and windows.
Our full range is available in our Ambleside Store, from our SnapWire titanium spoons to our Sonder Bikes, with a fleet of demo bikes for you to try out. You’ll also find a bike repair workshop for bikes that are feeling a little worse for wear.
Coming soon… bike workshop.
Ben is a keen climber, winter mountaineer, snowboarder, and ultra runner. You’ll either find him up a crag, in the middle of nowhere, or in the store. Ben makes sure all the team can help you Go Nice Places, Do Nice Things.
Eve likes all things, but mainly things beginning with the letter B. A few of these are birds, blinking, bees, bikes, bogs, butterflies, beats, bunkbeds, biodegradable boxes, books, bivvying, brunch, blue skies, bright sunshine and big hills.
Rebecca loves exploring the local fells (and those further afield), running, and climbing. Find her in the Ambleside store to chat about gear and adventures past and planned.
Living on the doorstep of one of the greatest landscapes in the UK, how could he not have fallen in love with the mountains? When he’s not in the store, you’ll find Chris somewhere far from tarmac, exploring, and always with his dogs.
Wayne loves running, particularly on the trails and fells and has recently discovered that he loves a bit of lake swimming too. It’s not rare to see him doing some triathlon when he’s not in store, even though he’s not so keen on the cycling bit!
A mountain bike instructor by trade; if it’s steep, chances are Mark’s been down it faster than he probably should. Sometimes you might spot him hanging from a rock somewhere, otherwise he’ll be in the shop looking after the Alpkit range.
We run courses, events and lectures throughout the year. Contact the store for details. No Results
