Trakke began in 2010 with a simple idea: to make bags that could withstand the demands of everyday adventure. From those early beginnings at market stalls, the brand grew into a name recognised for timeless design and bags that could take on everyday adventures as well as the wild weather of Scotland.

Now part of the Alpkit family, Trakke is entering a new chapter. Our focus hasn’t changed: to make purposeful, enduring bags using quality materials and craftsmanship - gear built not just for today, but for years to come.

Waxed Cotton: Built Into Every Bag

At the heart of Trakke’s bags is waxed cotton - a material with deep roots in British outdoor heritage. We work with UK mills to source fabric that’s naturally water-resistant, tactile, and incredibly durable. Unlike synthetic alternatives, waxed cotton ages beautifully and can be reproofed time and time again.

It’s a material made for adventure, and one that fits seamlessly with our commitment to longevity.
