4 days of adventure, music and entertainment. Sheffield 1-4 July 2010

We are setting up camp on the edge of Sheffield, just minutes from the Peak District and a short walk from this year's Cliffhanger festival giving easy access to some of the best climbing in Britain, picturesque rivers, as well as miles of bridleways and footpaths for bikers and walkers to enjoy. Facilities will include camping around a central entertainments marquee, you will be able to cook your own food on our communal BBQs, purchase cooked food from our kitchen and drinks from a licensed bar, watch films on Friday night and boogie to live bands on Thursday and Saturday night.

The Big Shake Out and the Cliffhanger Outdoor Festival

We have been Cliffhanger regulars for the past three years and although we have always enjoyed it we have always thought that it would be better if it had camping and evening entertainment. This year with the help of Heason Events and Sheffield City Council we have actually been able to do something about it. We hope that the Big Shake Out will help you make the most of an entire weekend in the Peak District and provide a convenient base for visiting the Cliffhanger event.

Featuring: the Bell Hagg Orkestar, Na Zdrove and the Balkan Bandits, Renegade Brass Band, King Capisce, Neil McSweeney and Flamingo Love Parade
