Don't have any headphones and you're worried about waking your hamster up? Read on from written instructions:
The Viper: a simple-to-use, all-rounder. Bright enough for a run in the dark, light and compact enough for backpacking, perfect for camping and walking the dog. Here are instructions to get you up and running.
Change the Batteries:
Tilt the head torch and open the battery compartment.
Insert 3 x AAA batteries as indicated on the inside of the battery compartment.
Close the battery compartment.
The battery life will vary depending on the brand and freshness of batteries, recovery time, time the light has been switched off, and the setting used.
! Use good quality AAA batteries.
! Please ensure that your rechargeable batteries are compatible with
! Do not store with batteries inside for prolonged periods
Instructions for Use
Press power button once to turn on, click again to shimmy through the settings:
Medium > High > Low > Red LED > Red Flash
Hold down the burst button on any for the 280 lm burst.
Two Side LEDs:
Press the button for 3 seconds to switch on the 2 side LEDs. Click again to move between the settings:
High > Low > Strobe > Off
• Do not shine directly into eyes.
• Do not submerge.
• Do not disassemble or modify this product as it will invalidate your warranty
• Keep your Viper II clean to prevent dirt and dust from entering the electric elements.
• Do not store Viper II with batteries inside for prolonged periods of time.
• Remove any moisture before storage.
• Store your Viper in a dry place.

Keep your Viper II clean to prevent dirt and dust from entering the electric elements. Clean head torch body using a damp cloth, remove the straps to wash them separately.
Ensure that the torch is completely dry, store in a dry place. Do not store with batteries inside for long periods of time.
Service and Repairs
If the torch does not work, check that the batteries have been inserted the right way around and replace if they are flat. Check that there is no water in the torch, dry thoroughly if there is and try again. Check contacts for signs of corrosion caused by batteries leaking or through damp. Clean contacts with a light emery cloth.
