Does exactly what it says on the box
I used this bag first for road cycling in the Alps and it felt misplaced: when I'd get out of the saddle it obstructed my knee movement (guess I sway a lot when I climb). But recently I used it on a 600km audax ride (with other framebags) and it was formidable! It stays in place, it's stiff, it holds quite some stuff, I can open and close it while cycling. And it looks good. Only fear I have is that the stem bolts will dig into and chave the bag's canvas where they touch. But it's a lot of value for this price. Heavily recommended!
I love this little top tube beauty!
This is a great little top tube bag. It's just the right height, i.e. the same as my top cap, which means that my stem mounted iPhone doesn't clonk it. The attachment system is really nice and it stays still even though I have an inconvenient cable running along the top of my top tube. It takes me a minute to thread the elastic when I put it on but it's worth the little bit of effort for the secure attachment. I think it must be made out of the same material that they make elephants from because it's really tough and holds its shape nicely but still allows a bit of flex so you can stuff whatever you like in it. In it I carry 2-3 oat bars, rehydration sachets, an energy gel, sunscreen, my keys and there's a little space left if I need to tuck anything else in. The zip and zip garage are beautifully made and although i've only ridden with it in very light rain I don't doubt that it will keep my goodies nice and dry in really heavy downpour. It also matches my Analoko frame bag perfectly, so together they look the business IMHO. Full marks. I'm thinking about getting another one to mirror it and attach to my seatpost.
Touko the best
Excellent fitting and attachment front end . No flopping. Doesn’t hit my knees ,super light ,waterproof. Aero. Holds snacks, phone, charger, money. Special design at front end embraces stem cap. Bungee cord grips without marking frame or inhibiting turning. Really recommended.
Nice size and design, but not waterproof
It's a very well made little bag and it's been designed well. It will fit onto any bike and it looks good. Convenient size, I like that I can open it while cycling. And a good price too!
However, it's definitely not waterproof. I should have read Alpkit's description a bit closer...waterproof materials but only a water resistant zip. They also recommend using a dry bag inside when the weather is really bad. So while some of the materials used are waterproof, the bag as a whole isn't.
