Great lightweight trouses
Been looking for a lightweight walking / casual trouses for some time and these just ticked all the boxes for me and at a good price.
So good I've bought another pair (different colour).
Would be nice to have an option of a short leg but it's no a real problem as the price is good.
I bought these hoping that they would be lightweight, flexible and a comfortable fit. And they were!
I wanted them predominantly for walking in hotter weather, particularly where there is dense undergrowth and wearing shorts would mean cut and scratched legs. Last weekend the temperature hit almost 30 degrees so it was an ideal time to try them out, and they were really comfortable. In particular the lined waist band is a good idea as it comfortable next to the skin when you're a little bit hot and sweaty!
For the price they really are fantastic value.
Very good trousers on the whole. Material is thin enough for me as I like to sweat rather quickly and constant. Durability I'm yet to see, definitely for the warmer folk / hot climates. If you're the type to be chronically cold, probably not the garment for ye.
I purchased the L. Waist at 33" Thighs at 27" and Calves 17". My inseam is approximately 30". Fits well all around with an inch and a bit extra room, so comfortable definitely.
My only gripes are a wee bit long, but not really an issue with boots. The problem is the seat, probably due to a slightly larger derrière, and full range of motion with my legs becomes a problem at the far reaches. The material pulls when my leg is about 70 degrees from standing, and starts to pull in the seat. This is the only real issue to bear in mind if you're a stockier build in the legs department.
Would have given 4.5 but, all 'bout the glass half empty life.
