SkyeHigh 900 Long down sleeping bag
High fill power down in a comfortably spacious design makes our SkyeHighs our most versatile range of sleeping bags. Certified by the RDS to ensure the SH900 continues to set the standard high.
SkyeHigh Long is for our taller customers, suitable for heights up to 205 cm. This bag has 900 g of 650 fill power 90/10 down to keep you warm and the bag light. 4 season campers expect to face a range of extremes and hostile temperatures. Whether snowholing in the Cairngorms, camping out on a windswept shoreline or snugged up in a alpine hut this is the bag to keep you warm.
The excellent compressibility of down means it squishes down small to fit in your rucksack. The box wall baffle construction and trapezoid side baffles eliminate potential heat loss and prevents down migrating from front to back.

This mark indicates that the down in this product does not come from birds that have been live-plucked or force-fed, and that their welfare has been protected from the time they were hatchlings to when they are slaughtered. How will you fit? Our guide is based on the user wearing thin base layers.
Spacious: 5ft11 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 100 cm. The bag will be perfectly useable but you will have space within the bag. For this reason it will not be as thermally efficient as an optimum fit but it will be comfortable and you will easily be able to wear extra layers.
Optimum: 6ft4 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 124 cm. At this size you are the ideal candidate for this bag. You should be able to easily arrange yourself in the bag, and still have the space to wear an additional down jacket if necessary.
Tight: 6ft7 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 128 cm. At this size you will start to compress the down and reduce the thermal efficiency of the bag, especially in the foot section and have limited movement around your shoulders when the zip is full closed. You should still be able to take your socks off, but might struggle to take off a top layer without undoing the zip.

Great sleeping bag
I purchased the Skyehigh 900 long in December 2015 as my old down sleeping bag had pretty much given up on me. I spent quite a long time deciding on which bag to go for and eventually settled for this long version as it would give me extra space. I have used it on several occasions, mainly on a weeks long camping trip in the Lakes and have so far been really pleased with the item, its really warm and extra space (I'm 6ft 1) is amazing. I would highly recommend this sleeping bag to anyone who wants a that added space in their sleeping bag.
I purchased this large Skyehigh XL about a month ago and used it for the first time this weekend. Firstly, it is a very warm bag, and so i ended sleeping half in and half out! I am 6ft 1, and 15.5 stone, so this bag fitted me really well. The bag is well made and I did not see any manufacturing issues i.e. loose threads. It 'lofts' very quickly and then pack downs very easily. This is the first down bag i have owned so i have no reference point except for my old synthetic Vango, which this beats hands down. Nice work Alpkit!
