£170.00 Was: £180.00
On a big pitch the last thing you want is to be weighed down unecessarily by your rope. At just 64 g/m Minus is one of the lightest single ropes in the Roca range.
To make the most of this weight saving it made sense for us to stock Minus in the longer 70 and 80 m rope lengths, that's where you are going to get the most benefit. Due to its ease of handling and technical properties it is an ideal choice for all types of sport climbing.
Minus passes the UIAA Sharp Edge test and is dry treated to help prevent water absorption and extend the lifespan of the rope.
Note: For the safety of all our customers we are unable to accept climbing ropes or hardware for refund or exchange.

A single rope is used on its own and is clipped into each piece of the climbers protection. It is ideal for sport routes, indoor climbing and low grade winter climbing.
A dry treatment that covers every filament of both the sheath and core of the rope before fabrication. This makes it an ideal choice for use in more extreme winter conditions, helping to prevent water absorption and ropes icing up. The Tot Sec treatment enhances rope handling characteristics in wet/cold conditions and will also extend the life-span of the rope.
Secure Low Shock
A rope with the optimum balance between impact force and dynamic elongation.
A rope with a good weight to diameter ratio.
An exclusive Roca fabrication method designed to withstand the Sharp Edge Test. When testing the strength of the rope, the Standard UIAA test simulates a fall with the rope over a 5 mm radius metal edge. To test a ropes performance over a sharper edge the UIAA developed a complimentary test which reduced the metal edge radius to 0.75 mm. Ropes that withstand 1 fall are given the Sharp Test Approval.
