PipeDream 600 down sleeping bag
The all year adventure bag. Box wall 750 fill power goosedown sleeping bag. -12ºC limit and weighing a kilo
This years PipeDream 600 has a box-wall construction to give a lightweight fine tuned sleeping bag with the adventurous traveller in mind.
Optimised with 750 fill power down to get the most warmth, yet only 1050 g, with no unnecessary features. This specialist bag uses 600 g of 90/10 goosedown and is suited to all season use.
The bag has a DWR coating so the odd drip of condensation or early morning dew won't ruin your bag’s insulation and the dark colour scheme absorbs heat from the sun - so if your down is unlucky enough to get wet, it will dry quicker.
Supplied with cotton storage bag and lightweight stuff bag.
- C6 DWR coating
- Box-wall construction
- All of our down is ethically sourced, not live-plucked and not force-fed

How will you fit? Our guide is based on the user wearing thin base layers.
Spacious: 5ft3 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 100 cm. The bag will be perfectly useable but you will have space within the bag. For this reason it will not be as thermally efficient as an optimum fit but it will be comfortable and you will easily be able to wear extra layers.
Optimum: 5ft11 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 124 cm. At this size you are the ideal candidate for this bag. You should be able to easily arrange yourself in the bag, and still have the space to wear an additional down jacket if necessary.
Tight: 6ft1 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 128 cm. At this size you will start to compress the down and reduce the thermal efficiency of the bag, especially in the foot section and have limited movement around your shoulders when the zip is full closed. You should still be able to take your socks off, but might struggle to take off a top layer without undoing the zip.

I have not yet experienced the all-new 2016 version, but its predecessor (c.2013/14) was the best sleeping bag I've ever had.
It weighed 900g, went to -12 degrees C and cost 120 odd quid at the time. NOTHING came close to it. Plus it was comfortable and spacious enough.
Unfortunately I had it taken from me in a mountain shoot-out in South Africa, so I'm looking forward to getting me hands on the new version.
Why is the new one 150g heavier? Possibly tougher zips?
Whatever the reason I'm sure this one is going to be just as much of a cracker.
Super snug bag that does what is sez on the tin! Only tested at 4 degrees so far but with no clothing on, still had to unzip and let some cool air in! And the zip is the first one I've found that doesn't snag every 6 inches. Packs down comfortably into a 10 litre dry bag.
Awesome simply perfect so far
This is lovely and snug, a but more boxy than a lot of mummy bags which for someone who prefers to sleep with his legs flailing about is a bonus. I find mummy babs very restrictive usually. Good zips, everything does what it should and a great price to weight ratio!
