2 season ultra-lightweight goosedown sleeping bag, good to - 1.5ºC, highly packable and weighing just 610 g it appeals to minimalists
PipeDream 250 down sleeping bag
The PipeDream 250 has been pared down to the bare minimum to give a lightweight fine tuned sleeping bag with the adventurous traveller in mind.
Optimised with 750 fill power down to get the most warmth, yet only 666 g, with no unnecessary features. This specialist bag uses 250 g of 95/5 goosedown and is suited to 2 season use or as a liner bag for winter trips.
The bag has a DWR coating so the odd drip of condensation or early morning dew won't ruin your bag’s insulation and the black colour scheme absorbs heat from the sun - so if your down is unlucky enough to get wet, it will dry quicker.
A full length zip backed up with a baffle, simple stitch-thru construction and a slightly roomier chest girth than previous editions of our PipeDream will make it a much more practical bag for many users.
- Right-hand zip only
- 95/5 Chinese white goose down
- DWR coating
- Stuffs into an Airlok 4L dry bag (not included)
- Ethically sourced down, not live-plucked and not force-fed

How will you fit? Our guide is based on the user wearing thin base layers.
Spacious: 5ft3 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 100 cm. The bag will be perfectly useable but you will have space within the bag. For this reason it will not be as thermally efficient as an optimum fit but it will be comfortable and you will easily be able to wear extra layers.
Optimum: 5ft11 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 124 cm. At this size you are the ideal candidate for this bag. You should be able to easily arrange yourself in the bag, and still have the space to wear an additional down jacket if necessary.
Tight: 6ft1 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 128 cm. At this size you will start to compress the down and reduce the thermal efficiency of the bag, especially in the foot section and have limited movement around your shoulders when the zip is full closed. You should still be able to take your socks off, but might struggle to take off a top layer without undoing the zip.
