AlpineDream 800 down sleeping bag
An ultralight 4 season winter mountaineering bag filled with 800 g of goose down. -22ºC limit weighing 1300 g.
As your dreams lead you to increasingly cold and beautiful places you need a sleeping bag you can rely on with complete confidence.
An alpine apprenticeship will take you to higher, grander peaks. From the comfortable valley floors to the summit of Mont Blanc, AlpineDream 800 is a sleeping bag that is going to perform at every level and across the vast range of temperatures you are going to be operating at.
To make a bag that is going to keep you warm at temperatures below zero we spec 90/10 750+ IDFB white goose down. 13 independent box-wall down chambers run along the bag so that the down cannot migrate through the bag and create cold spots.
The shape of the bag is purposefully roomy, a true mountaineering design that allows you to move around inside the bag, after all once inside you are not going to want to unzip the bag just to take your socks off.
RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD
The down we use is certified RDS (Responsible Down Standard). This mark indicates that the down in this product does not come from birds that have been live-plucked or force-fed, and that their welfare has been protected from the time they were hatchlings to when they are slaughtered. That’s good to know.

How will you fit? Our guide is based on the user wearing thin base layers.
Spacious: 5ft3 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 100 cm. The bag will be perfectly useable but you will have space within the bag. For this reason it will not be as thermally efficient as an optimum fit but it will be comfortable and you will easily be able to wear extra layers.
Optimum: 5ft11 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 124 cm. At this size you are the ideal candidate for this bag. You should be able to easily arrange yourself in the bag, and still have the space to wear an additional down jacket if necessary.
Tight: 6ft1 tall or you have a shoulder circumference of around 128 cm. At this size you will start to compress the down and reduce the thermal efficiency of the bag, especially in the foot section and have limited movement around your shoulders when the zip is full closed. You should still be able to take your socks off, but might struggle to take off a top layer without undoing the zip.

Sleep in a cloud
First glance, looks well made. Very nice feel inside - like sleeping in a cloud. I bivvy'd in this (with the Alpkit Hunka - so good) at freezing and was very cosy with the head cinched down. Slept soundly all night. Yet to be tested at colder temperatures.
I'm 6ft1 and I'd say it's a comfortable fit. A quality investment (if I don't end up leaving it on the bus like my last bag...)
