Shortest Night Ridathon
By Kenny Stocker | 31, May, 2013
Encouraged by the current spell of fine weather Kenny and Colin intend to jump the gun on our Shortest Night challenge this evening as they attempt to ride 160 miles from Nottingham to Cambridge.
Col has pieced together an indirect route of cycleways and bridalways which is bound to test their micro-navigation skills to the limit. Riding through the night they will have to face dozing cows, carrot crunching rabbits and furrowed fields.
Current night time hours are 6 hours 51 minutes, some 30 minutes longer than at the solstice. The guys hope to be in Cambridge by Saturday evening and avoid another night in the saddle. You can track their glacial progress on our SPOT tracker page.
