School of Adventure 2012
By Col | 14, Aug, 2012
The School of Adventure is back again for the Alpkit Big Shakeout 2012. Bringing together some of the best instructors, guides and inspirationalists in one place with one aim: to inspire and educate in an amazing environment.
Of course there's no obligation to sign up for a session at Big Shakeout, you can simply use it as a base to explore the delights of the surrounding area. However, the School of Adventure is designed to give you the chance to try new stuff without committing to a whole weekend course, which also gives you the option of mixing courses and simply doing your own thing. Many of the sessions won't teach you everything but they will give you a set of core skills to work on. Currently there are options to try a diverse range of outdoor activities, such as mountain bike skills from Campbell coaching and Ed Oxley, to canoeing courtesy of Pyrahna and Venture kayaks, right through to photography and film courses from Benji Haworth, Alex Ekins and Dom Bush. There's even plenty for the younger Mini Adventurers amongst you.
If you want to hear when new courses are added to this years programme make sure you are signed onto the newsletter, or if you prefer follow us on Facebook and Twitter where we shall also be making announcements.
