From 23rd to 24th July, Alpkit and Sonder will be Ramsbottom bound, for the Northern Grip mountain bike festival. Northern Grip is new to 2016, celebrating all things mountain bike. Festival goers can expect to ride some of the finest trails in the North West, be entertained, and shop till they drop in the retail festival hub.

A network of brand new National Trust way-marked trails that have never been "officially" used before on the hills above Ramsbottom will be opened exclusively for Northern Grip. A perfect opportunity to test the Sonder Transmitter, Camino Ti, Broken Road or Sonder Vir fortis

Alongside Sonder, Kona, Cotic, Scott and Giant will be bringing demo fleet bikes, available to test ride over the course of the weekend. To demo, there’s no advance booking, simply turn up on the day with your photo ID and you’re away!

Q&A sessions with pro rider Ricky Crompton, the Hope Tech women’s ride team and Alpkitters Rich and Tom (mini-pips) are also planned. Additionally, films will also be shown from Kona, Ricky Crompton and our own mountain bike edits. And if all of that isn’t enough, there’ll be plenty of food and drink on offer, including the festivals very own and exclusive Northern Grip Bunny Hop ale. For only £25 a ticket (under 16s go free with 1 full paying adult), it’ll be a weekend not to miss!
