May Day Madness!

We're gearing up for adventure again this Bank Holiday with lots of activities on offer.

Over this coming Bank Holiday, pop over to Alpkit Hathersage or Ambleside to make the most of the long weekend. We’ll have games to play, nibbles to munch on and plenty of tea and coffee to go round.

What's on offer?

Not only will there be plenty of activities going on that you’ll be able to take part in, but if you just want to get out there and explore the surrounding area for yourselves who better to talk to than local experts!?

Whether you climb, ride, ramble, swim or paddle, our store heroes have all the local knowledge needed to point you in the right direction for an action packed adventure. They know the Peak District and Lake District like the back of their hands and no matter what you’re looking for over the weekend, they can offer you some great tips and advice on where to go and what to do.

We've also now paired up with Gift Your Gear! This means that GYG will join our existing Continuum Project charity recipients and allows us to expand what donations we can accept. So bring along your outdoor clothing, rucksacks, footwear, tents, cookers, maps and guides, sleeping bags and mats, pan-sets, climbing equipment, sunglasses, walking poles. If you have anything else that you want to donate then please get in touch.

However, if you’d like to get stuck in to some good old fashioned organised fun, we have plenty of activities to join in with. Have a look below at what’s on offer, but get booked on quickly as places are limited and tend to sell out rather fast!
