Job: Factory Assistant

UK manufacturing forging forwards in our little old HQ factory.


Want to work with like minded individuals? In a creative environment? Working to make specialist outdoor equipment?

Due to the popularity of our bike luggage, bouldering equipment and soon rucksacks, our in-house factory is going from strength to strength. Consequently we are looking to recruit  someone to join our friendly, hard-working team. 

Overall objective: To work alongside the factory team, feeding work to the machinists by prepping fabric and parts. Quality control and finishing products. You don't need any experience in manufacturing. All the training will be provided. 

The successful Factory Assistant will be responsible for:

Cutting orders
Assist production manager with all aspects of production
Complete quality control checks
Use a heat press, to logo up products
Reduce wastage
Lifting heavy weights - Don't worry you don't need to benchpress 250kg
Ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials to the sewing line

Personal qualities:

A team player, able to work off own initiative and manage own deadlines
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Working on your feet most of the day
A good eye for detail 

    •    Excellent organisational and communication skills

    •    Self-motivated, initiative and high level of energy

Full time Monday to Friday
