Machinists Wanted

We successfully recruited two new members of staff to the Alpkit factory only a couple of months ago, but we still need more!

Alpkit takes immense pride in manufacturing all it’s technical climbing and biking equipment in the UK. The product line has grown significantly over the last year and is always in high demand, so we need talented machinists to join our small but ever-increasing team. Our small inspiring factory in Newthorpe is at the heart of Alpkit HQ, with a view on to the showroom and the rest of the team near by; good music, tea/coffee, open plan offices and an open fire, there’s always something different going on.

Our products are built to last and therefore we are looking for experienced machinists, who will know there way around a lockstitch sewing machine and have an eye for precision and quality control. It would be advantageous to have used a variety machines and have previous experience of working with heavy materials, but not essential.

Working hours are flexible, but need to fit in with our production schedule. If you like the sound of working with us and think you would fit in at Alpkit, please e-mail/post a letter to us with just enough information about yourself and your experience. Please feel free to to attach a CV, but we want your letter to draw us in.

Be sure to get your application to us soon! - We are always on the lookout, so no closing date...
