Big Shakeout 2015
11, Feb, 2015
Save the date. The 5th BSO is coming - 25th to the 27th September.
Yes, you've heard it right. After a fallow year last year we are delighted to announce that the Big Shakeout festival is back on for it's 5th edition. It may still be in its early planning stages but the date has been set, so get it in your diaries.
This years festival will run from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September.
Designing, sourcing and getting products available at good prices to hopefully help you Go Nice Places, Do Good Things. That's ultimately what we do and we're certainly set for a busy one this year. However, 6 years ago we wanted to offer something more. A way to get a bunch of like minded people together, to relax, learn new skills, inspire each other and celebrate what we love doing. Big Shakeout was born and after a year off it's back again.
Starting back in 2010 alongside Cliff-hanger in Sheffield, we then moved to develop a strong relationship with Thornbridge Outdoors who welcomed the festival onto their site in 2011. We are delighted to be hosting the Big Shakeout there once more in the heart of the Peak District.
We will of course be aiming to retain the friendly, relaxed and intimate vibe that has made this weekend so popular over the years and there will be the usual School of Adventure for those wanting to try something new or brush up on skills, all mixed up with a good dose of music, food & drink, films and talks. A great way to meet up with old friends and make new ones. It also gives us a chance to try and relax and meet up with some of our customers!

Head over to the BSO website and sign up to our Big Shakeout newsletter to make sure you keep up to date with all the announcements. We shall be announcing ticket information as soon as possible and updating the website as developments happen.
