Very nice indeed

Bought this jacket last week to match the parralax pants. Size M great slimline fit. Tested it in Ambleside last night. Deflected light rain with ease and a few careless spillages of beer. Surprisingly light and kept me warm even though I only had a t shirt underneath.I would recommend this product. Swift service from Aplkit. Already got my eye on more Alpkit gear fir cycling. Thanks.

Mmm nice fit, feel and looking pant

I bought these pants a while ago and first wore them yesterday in Ambleside. Great fit, feel and not the usual 70's flared look. Put them on to keep off the chill as i only had leggings on. walking back to Ambleside from the drunken duck inn they kept my aching legs nice and warm. Can't wait for a downpour to test these pants. Thanks Alkpit for a great product and service.

Great socks

Had the the sock on today for around a 12 mile walk, very comfortable. Fit your feet great with good structure. Temp was around -2, feet stayed warm with great breathable performance. Great Alpkit equipment again 5*

Great kit

Bought this as I got tired of lugging a flask around. Why not buy this for both food and hot drinks. First tried it in Dec top of helvellyn around the -5 wind chill boiled 500ml in a few mins. Had a very happy freind who came with me. This product from Alpkit works as described with no downsides. Well built, light and packable, what more could you ask for.

Absolutely love this bag!

I'm a big chap, 6ft 4in, built like a rugby player, so sleeping bags are a pain for me. Never long enough and very tight across my chest. I have now spent a week in Yorkshire over new year and a long weekend in Kent when the temp dropped right down to -7.
So weight first, I can't beleave how small this bag packs down, and it's light enough not to even notice in a full pack. Once it's spread out it soon lofts up and after a cold day working is a delight to climb into. Very nice material and it warmed me up fast and kept me comfortable all night.
I have got used to very tight bags, I hate them but resigned myself to it being unavoidable, well not any more, this bag is huge, has plenty of space to move around and roll round if your a fidgety sleeper like me.
The zips have never caught or stuck ( my pet hate) what more can I say, another great product from alpkit.

No nonsense backpack.

This is the 3rd bit of kit from Alpkit, and again they have nailed it. A product that works. Packed correctly can hold an entire days kit with ease. It's waterproof with no flapping about cover. It's comfortable and even has a removable pad to sit on when you stop for lunch. Price point is great like all Alpkit stuff. I buy kit on a regular basis and I can guarantee more purchases will be made with Alpkit. Great products, Great company values.

Very comfy and does the job

Have now worn this waterproof in 3 full days of rain and it is still beading magnificently with no leakage. Weighs very little and folds small. I am a 41 inch chest and the large fits well if you want a fleece underneath. Only one kangaroo pocket and only available in black - come on Alpkit lets have a choice of brighter colours for the fells

AJB
Very practical

Bought this at the beginning of last summer and it was a constant companion on the hills. Weighs very little and packs small but makes a big difference when the wind blows chill or there are showers/low mist etc. How about a gilet version Alpkit?

Perfect

You want a pair of tights that you can wear for 6 days on the hoof running along the Pennine way? You want a pair of tights that let you keep 600kcal of trail mix in your left thigh pocket, a spare buff and bodyglide in the other thigh pocket? A pair of tights that have a zipped pocket for camera and phone? Tights that dry quickly below the knee?

These have it all. Probably the best bit of kit that I took on the Spine Race. Peanuts too.

Sean
Perfect

I was told that lightweight waterproofs wouldn't survive the Spine Race. Well these did, and they were bloody brilliant.

6 days, 268 miles through rain, sleet, snow, and river crossings. These deliver in buckets.

The trim fit cuts back on drag and the material gives just a bit of stretch making them super comfy for running and walking.

The ankle zip goes just high enough to get gaiters/boots (UK13) through without too much faff and the Velcro closures stop the flapping.

These have been through some crap in the last week and the zips and closures are still working perfectly. A bit of absolute top end kit.

My new favourite possession

I just purchased the Pipedream 600 2017 model sleeping bag last week and I am in love with it. I have only had the chance to use it twice but they were a good test of the bag. It kept me super cosy and warm over the weekend in a bothy in icy conditions and another night camping where there was a lot of dampness in the tent. Both situations the sleeping bag performed even better than I had hoped. It is very light and, although not as small as the Pipedream 400, it packs down to a impressively small size which makes carrying it easy. It comes with one small compression sack and a larger storage sack. It feels high quality and really cosy. I can't wait to sleep in it again! Features such as the insulation behind the zip and the fitted neck piece are a brilliant design. Thank you alpkit!

great MTB backpack

Bought this for mountain biking in Torridon. Hard to beat. Its light, comfy, waterproof and roomy.

Ordos 2 - one hell of a tent!

This tent is possibly the finest there is out there. It's very light which, when taking one on an adventure race, is very important. The real plus point, though, for a tent so light is that it's so roomy inside. The framework is common sense all over with steep sides and loads of foot space. In fact, I was so impressed with the first one I bought that I picked up a second for the kids to sleep in while we were all away on a family cycle tour.
Congratulations to the designer.

Quality Jacket

I bought the Heiko at the beginning of January (2017) as I've been looking for a winter jacket. It was my first outing in the Peak District this year. With temperatures touching -3 degrees and a wind chill factor of -10 this jacket performed brilliantly. With just a base layer and a micro fleece underneath it kept the icy wind and cold out and I was comfortably warm. With its lightweight and compact material its well worth every penny.
I highly recommend this product to anyone, It's a Quality Jacket.

Awesome !!!!!!

Bought these for my fell running. What a brilliant bit of kit. I have a more expensive pair which cost me around £100 and don't even compare. If you want good value for money running glasses or just really cool looking glasses I recommend you buy these while they're in stock. You'll not be disappointed.

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best head torch I've ever owned. I have a much more expensive one and the light is very poor compared to the Gamma. Very lightweight and easily fits into the palm of your hand if you ever need to take it off your head and carry it. One major plus with the Gamma is a red LED light on the back which you can have on permanent or flash. More expensive makes with a light on the back will cost you around £60 upwards and I am being generous. I highly recommend this head torch. Best price and Alpkit's customer service is second to none. Well done Alpkit!!! Keep up the good work.

Great warm jacket. Enjoy a little bit of luxury

Having toyed with the idea of getting one for a good while, a clearance sale finally gave me the opportunity to sample one of these lovely jackets. I spent 7 or 8 months in a folding camper during the week and this was most welcome on cooler evenings or when you had to nip out in the early morning or middle of the night. It's comfy, nicely articulated and insulates well. Also, it was more robust than I'd thought it might be and hasn't had any scuffs or wear marks or unralelling stitching yet. Stray feathers yes, but that can't be helped. Having had the stitching fail in a SkyeHigh, I was a little wary, but there have been no problems in almost 3 years, so I'm more than happy.

Great Jacket!

I have used this jacket a few times for skiing since I bought it and I love it! It totally blocks out the wind and is still very breathable. Looking forward to taking it out the Scottish highlands for a bit of mountaineering and climbing in a couple of weeks time. Great job guys! grin

Lovely!

Excellent product- so good in fact that within 2 minutes of unpacking my parcel (speedy delivery) I was straight back on the website to order another. Nice cut, quality feel.

Kruger glasses

I really like these glasses. They keep the wind out my eyes well when road cycling. The nose piece is soft grippy rubber and is malleable so you can squeeze it into shape to suit your nose. The arms have sticky rubber on them too to grip your head. They are comfortable to wear and clarity of vision is good. I think they are great value with three sets of lenses too.
