Its a Wall Jim!!

The Team Erects A Wall

Jim wasn’t joking when he said to the team ‘Let’s build a factory’ and there’s a first time for everything, including stud walls. After some head scratching, coffee drinking, tape measuring and a quick trip to the builder’s merchant we had ourselves a flat-pack factory. They say Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was our factory. First we had a wall, then a second longer wall. Then we had to hang a wall plate (yup, that was a new one on us too) using some bolts and resin glue. The next day we got the roof joists on and moved in the designer furniture (a pair of very contemporary, industrial-looking bookshelves hand-crafted by Pete). Then came the red paint, the white paint (then some more red paint to cover the splashes), the floor paint, the door flaps, the roof boards and the lights. The build was finished off with a vinyl Alpkit.com logo and our new factory motto; work nice places, make good things. Well now we’ve got a nice place to work, it’s time to start making good things!
