Dual Airloks arrive with a surprise

The first factory sample arrives of the long awaiting Cuttlefish dry bag.

Lurking deep in the box of Airlok Duals was a lonely but very important bag. Inside was our first factory sample of the Cuttlefish Dry Bag. We have made numerous prototypes in our own workshop but we haven't got any taping equipment, so could never quite finish them. The Cuttlefish will be part of the Airlok Xtra range using the same 320D TPU Laminated fabric, roll top closure and Hypalon tabs. We have added a webbing ladder along the spine similar to that used on our Koala seat pack. We see it being used in a couple of ways. Firstly it is a shaped drybag that fits perfectly into our Koala Seat Pack. I haven't tried it yet but I would imagine it will also fit into many other seat packs, pouches and carriers. Secondly it will come with similar straps to the Airlok Xtra Duals so you can fashion your own harness system. In the photos I have quickly put together a system using only parts found on the straps that secures it pretty well to a seat and seat pin. Size wise, I haven't measured it exactly yet but I feel it is about equivalent to a 13L Airlok Xtra.

There are some minor tweaks to be made to get the final production goods perfect but we hope these will be arriving in our UK warehouse sometime in July or August.
