Hamming around in Austria
By Nicola Beeby | 22, Jul, 2008

Silz Wave, river Inn, Austria
Finally training has begun for the World Cup which is now fast approaching; we have been based in Austria near Hamming on the Inn. Have paddled a few runs and there is still good water levels out here, it is still raining and snowing out here! The Silz wave is pretty good in medium water levels, excellent for practicing blunts. Rafting the Lower Oetz was excellent fun with some guys from Chelmsford, a good giggle for the afternoon!
It’s off to Italy on Friday, then to Slovenia, so hoping for some good water levels out there.
