Pre-registration for this years Melloblocco bouldering festival is now open

We may still be waiting for winter to arrive here in the UK but the evenings are getting lighter and it won’t be long before the green alpine meadows with their snow capped peaks are calling our names. There is one valley in particular that is a firm Alpkit favourite.. Val di Mello in Northern Italy, and what makes it even better is that it hosts a bouldering festival in the Spring!

The Melloblocco bouldering festival is now in it’s 11th year and incredibly there are still new boulders to discover. The event consistently attracts some of the world’s strongest boulderers to compete against each other and climb the most point scoring problems, but the vast majority of participants are just pushing their own grade, socialising, experiencing the beauty of the valley or enjoying the famous Mello parties!

Pre-registration is now open for this year’s event which runs from the 1st - 4th May.

To pre-register visit the Melloblocco site, you can also pre pay for your Melloblocco T-shirt or you can take advantage of the special on-line price of registration including the 10th anniversary Melloblocco book.
