Ben Dowman Day

By Col
14, Aug, 2013

UKC readership survey winner Ben Dowman spends the day with us.

Here at Alpkit HQ, August 14th is Ben Dowman Day.

Back in June UKC announced the prize winners as part of their readership survey and we were delighted to offer one lucky climber the opportunity to come over to our workshop and see their prize being made before their very eyes. That prize? A custom made bouldering pad of their choice based around one of our existing range
Well the day has finally come and we are honoured to have the company of winner Ben Dowman here at Alpkit HQ and show him how it all works in our factory where we make our UK made products such as the bouldering pads, framebags and duffles  So far today he has made his own chalk bag, played French cricket, had some chips and is currently putting together his own custom boulder pad based on our Mujo.

Hopefully he'll have a fun and enlightening day seeing how our product are made, get a feel for the company and there are still doughnuts to be had!
