Since you are publishing a list of items nearer the time does that mean that you will do online sales of items for those that are not so conveniently located?

Short Answer - No
Long answer - Due the nature of a yard sale i think we will find it difficult to pass on the saving in any other way, what i mean by that is. we currently sell the new wee airic for 17.50 at the yard sale we will probably sell unused old ones for £10. However if we have to put them up on the site, post them, wrap them up, write a little note then we are going to have charge more than £10.
With a product that goes on the site we spend alot of time getting the pricing just right. However at a yard sale we go round with a marker pen and pluck some figures out of the sky, hence the deals

Shame, it does make ecological or economical sense to travel from the south coast for deals. I can see your point just was a little unexpected from your comment “We shall publish a list of the major items closer to the time”.

The idea of the list was really so people dont waste a journey here. We have been to plenty of closing down sales, yard sale’s and mega discount sales where you get there and it’s not quite what it says on the tin. So we just want to be clear what will be here at 8.00am on a first come first serve Saturday morning.

Are you gonna be ready to rock at 8? any chance of early viewing/pickings?.

I wanna come down but have to be at work in Middlesbrough by 9, that and justify the £40 in fuel and a 5am start to err in doors , guess ill have to wait to see the listing.

I am hoping to get a list done for at least the week before.

Nearer the time i sure we be able to say if we can get there earlier, but we definitely be ready for 8.00am
