Yard Sale

Pick up some Alpkit bargains at our second yardy.

The Alpkit yardy is always a great opportunity to pick up a bargain. We have a barrow load of samples, factory seconds, discontinued products and even new products just missing bits and pieces such as a stuff sack or a buckle.

This year the yard sale will take place on the 25th October. The doors will open to our unit in Ilkeston at 8.00 am and all products will be available on a strictly first come, first serve basis. The doors will shut when we have either sold everything, or people have found something more interesting to do - usually around midday.

We realise for a lot of people it is a bit of a lottery, especially those facing a long journey. The hit can be softened by extending your visit with a day in the Peak District. Ilkeston is conveniently placed just 5 minutes off the M1 and we will be serving coffee.

Important: you will not be able to reserve products in advance and you cannot order these products by phone or online..

and yes we really do mean that!!

We cannot guarantee that the products listed will still be available by the time you arrive.. the earlier you get here the greater your chance of getting what you are after! Prices will be set on the day.

Down Jackets
A handful of Filo down jackets, probably one of each size (mens and womens - as new).

Down Sleeping Bags
A good selection of assorted sleeping bags from SkyeHighs to PipeDreams. Some of these bags are as new but might be missing stuff bags. Others are cosmetic seconds or just original production samples. There must be about 25 - 30 bags in total.

Rucksacks
A good boxful of old style Gourdon dry bags.

Bivy bags
A good stock of Hunka factory seconds. We rejected these as the laminate coating is not as durable as it should be, but they would be fine in the bottom of your sack as an emergency bivi.

Bouldering
A good stock of old style cordura yellow Woomfs and some Phud Shells.
A lot of chalkbags.

Sleeping Mats
About 15 assorted ex-demo Airic self-inflating camping mats.

Trekking Poles
20 or so ex-demo Carbonlite poles and spare pole sections. A few random sample aluminium poles.

Torches
A few ex-demo Gamma headtorches
Some random LED torches, we even found some old Indigo headtorches!
