29 / 02 / 08Sheffield Adventure Film Festival: not strictly an Alpkit event in fact we have nothing at all to do with it, however Matt asked us to give it a big up so here it is.
ShAFF stands for the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival. Now in its third year the festival pulls together the best of the best, so if you never have time to get up to Kendal or are lucky enough to fly out to Banff this is your chance to see the films your mates are talking about.
The films will be served up in 90 minute shots so no excuses for nodding off half way through. The festival includes films featuring adrenaline charged sports such as climbing, mountain biking, kayaking and tubing as well as films exploring the outdoors from a more cultural perspective.
Joe Simpson is this years official patron and will be interviewed by Gordon Stainforth on Saturday night. Other highlights include a free party (for ShAFF ticket holders) at the Climbing Works.
