Just an early heads up confirming the date of the MelloBlocco bouldering festival this year. We went last year with some friends and products. We even managed a boulder mat test. Some of you may have seen the MelloBlocco article published in issue 10 of Friction magazine. We will be there again in some capacity, more details to come soon. Val di Mello as with other bouldering areas such as Albarracín, Magic Wood and Cresciano come under extreme pressure from their popularity. MelloBlocco gives access to some areas that are on private property and the best way to ensure continued access is to respect the local regulations. Don’t wait to be told, pick up litter and generally treat the area with the respect it deserves.
