Cliffhanger

Open air outdoor sports festival held in Sheffield.

True to British summer festival form Cliffhanger 07 didn’t fail to dissapoint. Graves park had conveniently soaked up enough water to fill lake Windermere, so when we moved in it was ripe to bursting. As luck would have it we had pitched our gazeebo right over a previously unmapped stream. Oh what joy we had taking it in turns to run through the rain to get the coffee in between wallowing in our own mud bath, it’s not often you wish you had fewer customers!

This year things will be different, you see we are over at Millhouses Park and Matt Heason has told us the weather will be spectacular in fact he has told us to expect snow! Of course the main event will be the British Bouldering Championships so keep an eye out for our own Beth Monks, Ashleigh Naysmith and Dan Bradley.
