We like our coffee black, our donuts jammy and our shopping simple. If you can order it online it should be in stock. If you order before the posty gets here it will go out the same day. If it gets in the posties bag there is a pretty good chance you will get it the following day. Oh yes.. and the prices already include postage. (UK orders only).
We sell online and occasionally through one of our unplugged events. This means that you will not be able to see our products unless one of your mates already has one. We realise this could be inconvenient for some customers but we are doing everything we can to make your online experience as easy as possible.
Problems concluding a transaction? if the following page is no use to you please get in touch. We will try and help you with your order, we can even take your order over the phone. Website issues.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. You can order online, you can phone us or you can even come and visit us.
All prices on our site are inclusive of delivery and VAT for the UK. We get the products sent out to you as quickly as we can.
All of our products are arranged by category down the right hand edge of the page. Click on any of these to list all the products in that category. You will find that some of our products are listed in more than one category.
Click on a product name (or picture) to see; a description of the product, a larger picture and any product options such as size and colour. Some of our products will also have their own special feature pages.
Many products will have an additional page with a descriptive presentation of the product. Where this is the case it will be clearly indicated. If you cannot find the information you need then let us know. Once you have decided that the new AD900 sleeping bag with right-hand zip is the bag for you click on the red ‘add this product to your ALPBAG’ button.
The product you have choosen will appear in your Alpbag, it is a list of all the products that you are thinking to buy. You can put as many items in your Alpbag as you wish by repeating the steps above. You can review, delete and modify what you have in your Alpbag at anytime by clicking on the ever present Alpbag button in the blue bar at the top of the page.
Enter the checkout by clicking on the checkout button. You will see a list of all the items you intend to purchase. This is your last chance to check the details of these products before we ring them through the till. If there is anything there that you don’t want then go back to your Alpbag and delete it. Equally if there is something that you forgot like a £5 headtorch (yep £5) then hop back to the shop and squeeze it in.
There are 3 options:
We now need to know who you are and where we should send the goods. You can only enter 30 characters in the address field so if your address is long try to shorten it by using Rd instead of Road. The main thing is to include the house number and the postcode. If we have these we can find out the full address.
HotTip: If you think that you may return to our shop for more goodies in the future you can create a profile by entering a password. This way you will not need to enter your address details again. Phew you are nearly there.. so click on Submit!
HotTip: On a very few occasions some users can experience problems, in most cases it is the system trying to protect your card from abuse, however we know it’s annoying spending all your time typing these details in only to fail at the last hurdle. If you don’t want to go through it all again then just give us a ring. We very often have the details logged on our system and all we need to do is take a credit card number and the job is done.
At the end of the process click on the link to return to our site and you will see a message confirming we have received your order. In addition we will send you an email.
We get a few emails from people asking why that have had the ‘Verified by Visa’ or ‘Mastercard Secure Code’ thingy pop up. Both Secure Code and Verified by Visa are aimed at preventing online fraud; they are both systems to help banks and retailers avoid being stung. Also the less we get stung the cheaper every thing can be so ultimately it’s a good thing.
The systems are enforced by your issuing bank, rather than by us. What that means is that it is part of your deal with your bank, your bank tells our site you need to sign up to the scheme.
At some point in the next few months you will not be able to use a Mastercard without signing up to the scheme, Visa have not yet made it compulsory but it depends which bank you use. We know it can be annoying but unfortuantly it’s a part of our site that we cannot control.
