Are you planning an expedition? Working for a school or college? Maybe you are a load of mates who want the same thing. The bulk purchase area of Alpkit.com™ is here to make it easy to buy in bulk. No haggling for prices, no I’ve got a mate who’s brother works for..  and you don’t have to show a membership card to gain access, it’s simple, the more you buy, the greater the saving on your outdoor gear.

Pricing

Savings are given by purchasing multiples of the same items. The more of an item you buy the greater the saving that can be made. You will find the volume discount option listed under the regular item price. If no volume discount option is listed it is either because we do not have enough stock to satisfy a bulk order or it simply because we have forgotten to add it. In this case please contact us!

Options

If you make a bulk purchase we will contact you after you have placed the order to sort out your required size/colour split. We will also contact people who make a bulk purchase of sleeping bags to determine whether you would like left, right or a mixture of zip options. Some items may be subject to stock levels.

No Minimum Order

There is no minimum order value, if your school ordered 10 head torches and Johnny dropped one into a pan of boiling pasta, just pop back on the site and order a single torch, we’ll deliver it next day. For some items we may not hold enough stock and will have to make a special order from our suppliers.

Delivery

As with all Alpkit™ prices, the cost of UK shipping is included in the price shown. In most cases your goods will arrive the day after payment is received.

Invoice & Payment

You can pay for your goods immediately as we accept most forms of plastic, however if you need us to raise a Pro-forma invoice so you can arrange a cheque or a BACS payment, progress through the shopping cart as normal and select Pro-forma invoice as your preferred payment method. We will contact you shortly afterwards to sort out all the details.

VAT

All prices are shown with VAT, multi-buy purchases will automatically receive a VAT receipt enabling you to claim the VAT back on any Alpkit™ products.

Personalisation

We are finding an increasing number of people are approaching us asking us to design their club t-shirt. Maybe you have a design in mind or maybe you would like to choose one of our existing designs and have your names printed on the reverse, the choice is yours, just drop us an email.
 

BPFO

We have no problem sending orders to BFPO addresses but it is not guaranteed that we can despatch your order VAT free.

Within the EU: Please order as normal using either the online store or telephone. If your BFPO address is eligible for VAT exempt sales you must fax us a copy of the VAT exemption form signed by your CO. We will despatch the goods once we have received the form.

Outside the EU: If your BFPO address is outside the EU you will not be charged VAT. However, if it is not obvious that the destination is outside the EU then we will need a copy of a VAT exemption form signed by your CO. We will not ship orders until we have received this form.

The following BFPO addresses are subject to VAT – BFPO 6, 8, 15, 49, 105 to 150, 801 to 825 and all BFPO ships.  All remaining BFPO addresses are exempt tax under article 77/388/EEC.  To meet the regulations imposed on us by the Inland Revenue you will need to post a copy of the exemption form to the address listed below.  Customs & Excise in Rheindahlen have advised that this form can be obtained from most Messes or can found in SOBAG 5205 Annex C.  As soon as we receive this form we will credit the Tax back to the account initially charged.

Institutional and groups

If you want to order a lot of one item we do not differentiate between our customers, the offers are open to individuals, groups or organisations.

Tax free shopping

The good people of the Channel Islands are not liable to pay UK VAT. Until we can upgrade our checkout system please just drop us an email with your order number to alert our weary admin staff to deduct the VAT from the total.
