They shuffle around some of these blocs in the midday sun, cursing their tight shoes and dipping their hands in the little sacks around their waist. If you find yourself there and wondering what is going down, don’t worry, the chances are it is TAB time.

It has been almost a year since Alpkit started sponsoring interviews at the webzine FreakClimbing.com. Thanks to chief freak Dan the list is now quite long and includes; Malcolm Smith, Fred Nicole, Lisa Rands, Ben Moon and Sylvain Millet. Dan takes a layed back, easy style and as well as hitting on girls like Lisa he also targets less well known personalities making an impact at the top level.
His site, in both english and italian aims to freak up your climbing life, featuring videos, interviews, breaking news and a forum. You must sign in to watch the videos, which on last count numbered 53. You can subscribe to news through RSS feeds and he tells us a redesign is coming soon.
