The factory had a simple brief, make a simple bag that lasts.

Bombproof construction, big zips and tough fabric. There isn't anything fancy about the design, it's really just a bag, but it will feel just as at home strapped to a horse riding out of Bariloche, as it would if you were fishing out your trad gear at the bottom of a wintry welsh roadside crag.
We looked at a lot of the bags on the market, to be honest we own most of them. The main design feature of ours is simplicity, and because they are simple they are light. That doesn't mean light in a flimsy way, they are still tough just light. We use 1100d Cordura, nylon webbing and a very liberal use of the bartacker.
