Northampton Event Details
Round 4 - The Mighty Nene
Well after the recent “Treestyle” at Nottingham the train that is the Plastic Fantastic rolls into the Nene this weekend. If you want to know how well you did at Nottingham the results and photos are now up on the Alpkit site. http://www.alpkit.com/pfaks.
The Nene event is organised by Northampton Canoe Club and has been incorporated as part of the Alpkit / PeakUK series for the past few years. http://www.nckc.org.uk. The format is the same as rest of the series and is a great first event if you haven’t entered a Plastic Fantastic event before.
Saturday 20th September
10.30am – 12.00pm Registration - Cafe
12.30am – 1.00pm Briefing
1.00pm - 2.00pm Boto-X Prelims
2.00pm - 4.30pm Sport Freestyle Heats (Pool A)
4.30pm - 7.00pm Expert Freestyle Heats (Pool A)
7.30pm – BBQ (food supplied as part of entry) - Bring you own alcoholic drinks
Incubator coaching will take place throughout the day.
Sunday 21st September
11.00am - 10.30am Boto-X Heats & Finals
10.30am - 11.00am Freestyle Semi-Finals (Pool A)
11.00am - 12.00pm Incubator Freestyle (Pool C)
12.00pm – 1.00pm Old Gits Freestyle
1.00pm – 4.00pm Freestyle Finals (Pool A)
4.30pm – Prize Giving & Results
These time may change on the day depending on numbers.
Camping is available on site and is free to all competitors, the café will be open both days.
