Activities:
In 2009 I intend to spend most available time in the mountains doing big routes and getting into ice and mixed climbing, it’s a part of climbing that I hardly do but the part I enjoy the most. (I think it’s because you have to be relatively fit)
I’ve been doing quite a lot of gymnastics and recently taken up boxing so with climbing as well I might once in my life be able to say that I’m getting fit enough. (As long as I don’t go for a night out with the Alpkit guys… & girl).

Dan also runs his own climbing company Up to Summit and has been known to moonlight in a kayak.

My Links

Dan is a qualified climbing instructor and helps run Up to Summit which provides instruction in bouldering, lead climbing, multi pitch climbing or mountaineering. Up to Summit is based in Nottingham but they offer courses in the Peak District and North Wales whatever your ability.
