Continue reading..We get to meet good folk in the course of our work, interesting folk with a passion for doing stuff. Sometimes these folk stick around long enough to remember our names, show us how to do problem 35 or kickflip of the shoulder of a green wave. As these folk play in the mountains, bounce down streams and feel the kiss of sunlight against their cheeks they do so partly in the good name of the Alpkit Company. They send us postcards, stories and video clips, it just wouldn't be fair to lock them in the warehouse with us.
This section of our website is for these people, it pulls together their manouvers, experiences and interests.
So who is this company called Alpkit and what are they doing tucked away inside your computer? Most of our time is spent doing normal stuff, you know.. the daily grind. The days are long at Alpkit GHQ, we pack orders, chase couriers, balance our books and eat doughnuts. Despite the grind we have as much fun as a barrel of monkeys. Anyway these monkeys are Alpkit, we try our best to give you guys a good experience when you come to visit.

Mountain Bike
One of the great things about mountain biking ( and there are many) is the diversity within the sport.. yeah it all boils down to man on bike offroad but there are so many different variations.
When I thought about what I wanted to do with my riding in 2010 I decided on a grander challenge… riding the highest, coldest and hottest races in the same year… not only a great physical challenge but also a chance to sample a massive diversity of riding visiting places you would in everyday life never see… many hours have already been spent planning and organising… many hours still left. Can’t wait to start.
