Continue reading..We get to meet good folk in the course of our work, interesting folk with a passion for doing stuff. Sometimes these folk stick around long enough to remember our names, show us how to do problem 35 or kickflip of the shoulder of a green wave. As these folk play in the mountains, bounce down streams and feel the kiss of sunlight against their cheeks they do so partly in the good name of the Alpkit Company. They send us postcards, stories and video clips, it just wouldn't be fair to lock them in the warehouse with us.
This section of our website is for these people, it pulls together their manouvers, experiences and interests.
So who is this company called Alpkit and what are they doing tucked away inside your computer? Most of our time is spent doing normal stuff, you know.. the daily grind. The days are long at Alpkit GHQ, we pack orders, chase couriers, balance our books and eat doughnuts. Despite the grind we have as much fun as a barrel of monkeys. Anyway these monkeys are Alpkit, we try our best to give you guys a good experience when you come to visit.

I love paddling, what ever type it is freestyle, rivers, slalom, polo, surf and sea kayaking! Paddling takes up all of my life at the moment, when I’m not at Uni. When I finish university this May, I’m looking to travel and paddle as much as I can, I’m planning to return to Norway, and compete in the world cup in Europe in August, then to travel to Nepal in November. When I’m not paddling I love going out on my bike, in my local woods and the moors.
Having narrowly missed out on a place on the British team I aim to improve my skills and get on at the next selection in 2008!
Et cetera:
Paddle every day!
