In 2009 Alpkit uber-athlete Beth Monks suffered a spinal cord injury leaving her paralysed from the chest down. Four of Beths friends are going to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats in order to raise the money needed to purchase an awesome Boma wheelchair. Any excess cash will be donated to the Aspire Human Needs Fund which provides essential equipment for spinally injured people.

Well our Filo down jacket has proven incredibly popular again this year, so much so that with demand so high we nearly sold out straight away due to a lengthy, Filo hungry waiting list. This was through word of mouth, great reviews in mags such as Wanderlust and Climber and a somewhat chilly spell. We have, however, still got some sizes and colours which are now live on the site. Stay warm!
We know a lot of people have been waiting for our Gamma’s to come back in stock. So for those of you interested… they are back now with an added bonus. We all hate it when prices have to go up, but we’ve always said that if prices can come down we would do it. So with the arrival of new stocks of Gamma comes a price drop back down to £12.50.
