Airlok - New drybags online

Airlok bags use the same siliconised cordura as our Apollo bags, but they are fully taped with a roll top lid. These waterproof bags come in packs of 4 ranging in size from 1 - 35 litres and are available online now.

Colour explosion

The evenings may be getting cold and dull, but I reckon Jim must have stolen Aimies colouring crayons. A couple of recent notes in the coLAB show an injection of colour in to the Alpkit product range.  The new Filo jackets will be available in 9 colours while the new SkyeHigh sleeping bags will come in 7 colours.

We are pleased to announce that we have finally had the first delivery of our new lightweight PipeDream sleeping bags. There have been some modifications to the bag over last years model, the details can be found here.

Singletrack Gold Seal

Sim from Singletrack mag has got in touch to let us know that he thinks our Hunka bivvy bag is pretty good, so good that he just had to award it a Singletrack Gold Seal! Last issue Sim wrote an article about his first bivvy experience and featured the Alpkit Hunka. Sim says of the award, “we only give it to products we really love”, it was nearly enough to make us spill our cornflakes.

The Nottingham Climbing Centre hosts round 1 of the annual Alpkit Bouldering League this Friday.

PFAKS IV this weekend

This weekend the slalom course at Holme Pierrepont will host the final event in the Alpkit Plastic Fantastic Freestyle Series. The British Championships will also take place on the Sunday, it is a packed programme!
