Alpkit Hero

To celebrate the fact that we are now a GoPro dealer we are giving you the chance to win a brand new GoPro Hero 3.

Who doesn’t want to be a Hero? We’ve all probably seen footage of some awesome dude or chick doing something totally radical, all filmed on a GoPro camera. Owning one of these versatile HD cameras might not immediately let you replicate but it will certainly help make your adventures come to life and give you the chance to show off to all your friends. We will also throw in a coveted team red t-shirt and Filo.

How to play
Starting on the 3rd December there will be 12 clips appearing over 12 days. Each will be shot on our own GoPro camera and each clip will have a multiple choice question which you must answer correctly to get your name in our hat.

If you play every day, and get 12 correct answers you will have 12 entries in the hat so statistically you will have a greater chance of winning than if you played only once.

There will be a bonus 13th clip on the 19th December. If you get the correct answer to this clip we will double the number of entries you have in the hat, so you could gain a maximum of 24 correct entries.

After the comp finishes we will select a winner at random. Easypeesy.

Day 1
The mug our hero started of the day with was ‘Rain’ from the Battling the Elements gift set.

Day 2
Phud and Mujo were the two bouldering mats being photographed in the studio.

Day 3
The 3 Filo jackets in the scene were Rocket/Black, Sweet Pea/Sweet Pea, Nemo/Black.

Day 4
Our slacking hero was wearing an Oh Deer Pom hat.

Day 5
Myti mug has a capacity of 750ml, that was an easy one.

Day 6
Anna was wearing a Go Big Icecream tshirt.

Day 7
The curious wooden climbing tools are Figfour.

Day 8
The guys cranked out 20 pull ups, well it was a warm down.

Day 9
The tent hanging by the door is a Kangri.

Day 10
Our tarp surfing hero was wearing a Christmas Tee - Snow.

Day 11
Apparently it is good down to 60 metres, gulp!

Day 12
It is track B, our local circuit the Kurburgring.

Day 13
11 people featured.. this caught a few people out as Pete and Jay appeared twice!

  • The prize is a GoPro Hero3 Silver Edition, a team red t-shirt and a team Filo.
  • You can enter only once each day and we will take you first answer. To ensure there are no duplicate entries we ask you for your email address, phone number and postcode. This will also help us notify the winner.
  • There will be a new clue each day, (not weekends) that is 12 clues in total.
  • Each time you get a correct answer your name will go in the draw.
  • Once the competition has ended we will draw a winner at random from all the correct answers.
  • The more correct answers you get the greater your chance of winning.
  • The prize will be shipped free of charge in the UK but international winners will have to pay postage via a courier service.
  • We’ll try and deliver the main prize before Christmas but we cannot guarantee it will arrive in time.
  • The competition is not open to Alpkit employees, family and especially not Alpkit sponsored athletes.
